Only to Believe

I've witnessed the beauty of life beginning

I've seen life as it slipped away

I've also seen life stripped away with no warning

As well as the beginning and end the same day….

I've had days much harder than others

Times wondering how to go on

I've lived where all changed in minutes

Finding out its darkest just before dawn..

I've often wondered what could possibly be the purpose

Not knowing what was in store

I've experienced joy beyond belief

Better than anything ever before…

I've laughed until I couldn't breathe

I've cried more than my fair share

I've had my breath taken away

I've been so upset that I didn't care..

I've known love in its fullest

I have loved with all my heart

I've experienced hurt that was unbearable

And hurting others i've to played that part..

But no matter what it is I've seen

Or the things I've done or did not do

Each and everyday has been a Blessing

For God has always brought me through….

It took time for me to grasp the fact that

I was not asked to understand,

Only to have Faith and

Believe.
