I needed pint glass, 3 feet insulated copper wire, 6-volt battery and a thin iron wire. I twisted two or three strands of the iron wire together, I then twist the ends around the hooks in the copper wire. The iron wire will act as your filament. I Placed the lid (with the filament and wires attached) in the jar and carefully connect the free ends of the copper wire to the terminals on the 6-volt battery. I then looked at it and realised that it what bright. So I said I'll name it Light something. It was also like a bulb so I decided to name it light bulb.
