There was fire everywhere. The lights were off, the bright orange illuminating the large gymnasium. All my friends were dead, Jessie, Jack,... Sensei. I could barely breath with all the smoke, my eyes were clouded by the blinding fire. My hearing was disoriented due to the flash bang thrown in my face. The ground was boiling hot so I couldn't feel my way out of this. And the taste sense won't do jack shit to help me. The screams of burning souls faded, the ringing stopped. I reached for my glasses, one lens was missing so I could only see through one eye. HE was in front of me, untouched by the fire and agony. HE killed his own father, than murdered my best friend and girlfriend right in front of me. The cloak on him was on fire, he pulled it of revealing the entirety of his armor. It was mostly black, with hits of purple and lavender, green tubes with some form of fluid in them connected certain parts of the armor. The armor wasn't even damaged. I closed my eyes, and I listened, no heartbeat, he wasn't even breathing. He's no longer human.
"Tojo... I-I'm gonna... kill you," I was out of breath, I could barley speak. Tojo crept forward. I swung at him, he ducked under my punch, and elbowed me in the back, I fell to the floor again.
"Your weak," his voice was deeper and had a robotic sound to it. "You rely to much on your 'abilities' that will be what kills you."
"Shut your bitch ass up!" I swung at full strength and hit him square in the face, it barely even phased him.
He laughed, "pathetic," He lunged forward. He moved so fast that I couldn't even see him.
The pain was unlike anything I had ever felt, he was standing behind me now. I looked down to see the handle of the blade sticking out of my stomach. I walked in front of me, his mask was off, he was Asian, with long curly black hair. He had a very minor cut on his right cheek from where I tagged him earlier. "Say hello to my father for me," he said. "Go to hell," I replied. He ripped the blade out. I clenched my stomach, and groaned in pain quietly. Tojo put the mask back on and walked away.
"As much as I want to watch you die I have other business to attend to overseas,"
He walked out escaped from the vents on the higher levels of the dojo. After a few minutes lying on the ground, I finally got up. I slowly limped towards the door, I fell to my knees again. I could here the creaking of the wood above me. The fiery beams of wood broke off from the ceiling. I was to injured to move, I tried to leap out of the way, but the beams crashed into my back. I went unconscious.
I finally woke up, I don't know how long I was out. The fire was out, the fire fighters were in the building now. The roof was gone it was night time now. The stars were beautiful. Me and Jessica used to sit on her roof at night and watch the stars. I looked over, Jessica's body, she had three arrows in her chest. My senses were back, except taste, fuck taste. I tried to get up, I couldn't. My left leg was broke. I tried using my arms to push me up, the pile of wood nudged a little, but then it crashed. I screamed pain, no one heard. I screamed for help, no one heard.
My heart was pounding. I felt like I was about to explode. I couldn't keep my self together. The blood in my mouth tasted awful, with that stupid fucking enhanced taste it was even worse. I started crying, no one was around, so it was okay for men cry. After a few minutes of crying like a little bitch. I tried again to get up. I couldn't. I was about to pass again due to all of the blood loss. I used all of my strength to lift up, the wood shifted, now's my chance.
I fiddled with the door knob for a few seconds before the door finally opened. I limped in before crashing on the floor. I crawled to the couch leaving a trail of blood behind me. The first aid kit was on the coffee table in front of the couch. I started taking off my shinobi gear. The cuts and burns were healing already, no point in patching them up. The wound from Tojo's blade wasn't healing. I grabbed the stitches and tried my hardest stitch it up. It was extremely painful, unlike anything you could imagine.
My apartment was not small, not large, but not average. Above average. The kitchen was behind me. The couch was against the wall that separates the living room and the kitchen. Therese another hallway behind the kitchen, it leads to the spare bedroom (my work out equipment is in there) and the bathroom. There's a TV in front of me, next to it is a door that leads to my office, that's were I keep the microwave. The door in my office leads to the master bedroom, its the biggest room in the house. The master bathroom is in my bedroom, I don't see how its a master because its smaller than the normal bathroom.
I fell asleep on the couch. About an hour later I woke up, my broken leg was healed, most cuts were gone, the burns were still there but they didn't hurt. The stab wound was still there, it didn't heal at all. I stood up and looked out the living room window.
There were a few cars in the air, flying cars were still new and people were afraid to use them. The flashy billboards and neon buildings filled this part of town. It was too bright so I put my purple sun glasses on. With super eye sight makes it to where anything that emits light looks like the sun, so I need to have my glasses on to see. One of the lenses was still broke, so I grabbed my spare pair. They were black with red lens. I could see the smoke from the dojo. I was furious with Tojo. I'm gonna kill him.
I was a PI, I graduated from the early law enforcement academy. I was supposed to be a detective, but I wanted to go by my own rules. I'm only 16, I'm 6 ft. exactly. I'm pale white, with dark brown hair, the top half and bangs are neon purple, I have blue eyes. When I was 9 my parents mugged and then killed. Me and my twin sister were put in an orphanage, she broke out using her "gift" that's what our parents and the orphanage called it. She had the same powers as me but without the side-affects.
Time to put that PI title to good use. Tojo said he had business overseas, obviously Japan, his home country. His family was deported for crimes against the Emperor and royal family. With his new power and armor obviously he wants revenge. Power, yes, the kitana he stole from sensei was a family air loom that would give the user special abilities. I found out not to long ago that sensei was planning to give me the sword, instead of Tojo who was his son. So he went insane, hellbent on getting the sword, no matter the cost.
I followed his sent to the north side docks, yes sent I know its weird, but there was no other way to track him. Tojo and his crew were loading massive crates of stolen military weapons on to a ship. He was going to start a war.
I pulled back on the bow string and fired at one of the stragglers. I would've much rather preferred to use a gun there much more deadly. I fired another arrow, another man down. One after another I took men down, it was hilarious because no one knew I was doing it. I jumped off my post, I punched one of Tojo's men in the chest and sent him flying. Someone saw him flying and he started to run, I through I knife in his back before he could warn anyone. I walked over to the dude's corpse. Hell yeah, a gun. It was just a basic street pistol, nothing fancy, but it'll work better than that bow. I leaped up into the air, that's another one of my abilities, I can do it better than my sister so she always said that I could fly. It was more like jumping really high than falling down slowly. I could see Tojo from where I was. His armor lit up like Christmas. I started to fire at the crown of men surrounding him. I didn't miss a single shot there were 20 men, now there are only 13. They finally quit acting like the retarded goons that they were and started shooting back. I jumped down into the maze of storage crates. They all came after me I took them out one by one.
I walked out of the maze, with a bloody sword in my hand. I popped my neck and looked down at y arm. I got shot, huh, I didn't even notice it. I could see Tojo, he was out in the open, he's to smart for that, It''s a trap.
