The Old House

It was a stormy night, during the night the house shuddered and screeched. However, during the day it was as calm as it could be. You wouldn’t even notice the house being old, it was so quiet when someone would walk on the floor. When someone would walk on it, it would not screech, it was like a new house. But, there was something at night that always made the house make noises and settle.

It all started when I moved in with my older brother. I don’t know if it is just me hearing all this and making it up. Every time I tell my brother I hear noises at night with the house, he just says, “What do you expect it is a house, and it is old it was made in 1955, so this house is about 50 years old.” You see, it is 2005. I don’t have the time for spooky, scary things happening right now. I have school to be focusing on, homework, and personal life issues to work out. Furthermore, I just hope that I do not get turned into a vampire one of these days or ghosts in my room at night.
