The plot of this work takes place in this fictitious location. Located on the west coast of the US, Sunsetport is a seaside city of marinas and towering palm trees. It has a varied gastronomy, fruit of the cultural conglomerate that it houses. Its inhabitants are distinguished by an abrupt contrast: either they are involved in intense routines, or they enjoy a peaceful retreat to watch the sunset from the promenades.
But not even the most paradisiacal city is free of macabre events…

Zoe Clarkson, 35, homicide detective and lover of crustaceans. She was transferred to Sunsetport to work on the “surgeon's case,” where her intuition managed to save numerous lives. Since then, he has remained serving the city police.
Inspector Clarkson is impulsive, lonely and not very accessible. He likes chess, pizza and, above all, jokes in bad taste.
