In July 1984 I woke up I a strange house. I knew I went out drinking last night but I swear I went home. I looked around me and saw loads of knifes and other sharp things. As I started to panic someone walked into the room. I couldn’t see their face but by the way they walked I could tell it was a man.
“Don’t worry sweetheart. Your safe now.” The man said. His voice calming me down in an unwanted way. I didn’t think much of it because I was lying in a strange bed in a weird bedroom that actually looked nice.
With a pout of my face with a bit of confusion I slowly replied.
“Why am I here, how did I get here?”. It took a while to reply and I started to panic.
‘What if he wants to hurt me? Am I asking to many questions? What if he likes me? Eww no please not I don’t even know what he looks like.’
I decided to drown out the thoughts and just wait. Maybe they are completely wrong.
“You are here because I saved you from being beaten up, plus; you were alone, drunk at 3am so I brought you here Darling.” he said in a proud way. It was almost like he was bragging about it sort of like someone else was trying to ‘save’ me as well.
“oh well thank you. I’m sorry, I’m still king of nervous because I don’t know who you are, Can I see your face?” I asked shyly. He slowly turned around and started to walk towards the bed I was laying in. There was tension creeping in the air as his hot breath hit my face before my eyes could adjust to the light change.
“My names Bucky” He said as he moves closer so I could see his face. He had those crystal, blue eyes that make you feel safe and at home and long brown hair that gently sat around his face. His jawline was chiselled and his face just reminded you of a sweet gentle babe.
“everything alright?” he asked.
“Huh? Yeah your just so cute. I’m Ava by the way.”
He just smiled and walked away so I decided to follow him. This building I was in had so many hallways and rooms. It’s what I imagined the inside of the avenger’s tower would look like. We went into this room where there were loads of weapons. There were swords, knifes, daggers, guns and more guns. I walked over to the shooting range were I picked up a gun and started shooting. Before I knew it I had Bucky trying to take the gun out of my hand. I tried to push him back with as much strength as I had but nothing worked. He seemed to have this arm that was way stronger than the other it was like it was made from metal, like vibranium or something.
“What are you doing in here? Your supposed to be resting.” He said with a little bit of tone in his voice. “That’s why I left you in there!”
“We need to talk” I said Walking away with him following me.
“You need to rest; go back I will be there in a minuet we can talk then” He said making it very clear I needed to rest. I got back to the room where I sat on the bed and waited. I wondered why I had to rest, I was hurt that I know of.
How is he so cute? Am I dreaming or is this for real. Forget about my previous life I have this one now and I am so thankful.
He arrived 3 minutes later with drinks. He got me an iced caramel latte with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles; he had a plain coffee with cream.
“Why do I need to rest so much” I asked him with a serious look on my face.
“You got stabbed, those men harassing you said you betrayed them or something. They all had black masks on and most of them were smoking. What did you do to upset them?” He mentioned.
“That’s actually what I need to talk to you about.
“What?” He said concerned.
“It’s about my past and why I was being harassed last night” I said slowly
“what! Tell me!” he said wanting to know.
“Why do you want to know so bad?” I said confronting his needs.
“Because I want to protect you!” He said with not a care in the world.
Maybe he does like me. He cares so much about what I’m about to tell him. I should feel grateful that someone actually cares for once.
