Whispers. Those were the only sounds in the cold, dark tunnel. The boy's eyes stung from the wind. His strawberry-blonde hair whipped against his forehead. A million hands were carrying him at a speed that shouldn't have been possible. His heart pounded against his ribcage. Where was he being taken?
The last thing he remembered was sitting in his bedroom...
Goosebumps made their way up his spine when cold air blew across his face.
Then, a bright light blinded him. When he opened his eyes, he wasn't in the tunnel anymore. Spread before him was a city. Vine-covered buildings stretched up into the clouds. Plants the boy had never even dreamed of were growing right in front of him. He looked down at his captors. That was his big mistake. The moment he laid his eyes on one of the beasts, a screech left his ears ringing. Pretty soon, A hole opened up, and swallowed him, along with his captors. This seemed like the end to him. But no. It wasn't the end. It was only the beginning. The beginning of something big.
