Cause I can’t say it with a smile
Thinking of us
Why’d he leave this world behind?
Why couldn’t he have a little more time?

Never planned it til it greets you?

Can’t fake, can’t hide it anymore
Not perfect
His smile his hug hits you
All his advice stays with you
It hurts it stings he’s not here anymore
Take a breath darling and know you’ll be ok
God’s got him in His hand for sure

As the years go by I’ll think of you
And maybe smile on Christmas too
