Dead Bird

The true misery of a dead Bird
Is being unseen and not heard

Once sang a beautiful song
Be it right or be it wrong

She sang he heart out
Freely without a doubt

Lived a life of flight
Celebrated each sight

Sometimes lived in fear
Though held he strength near

She radiated felicity
Even if it was temporary

Each mouthful
Was delightfully cheerful

Now she lays there alone and cold
Unable to her wings fold

She once could migrate
Had the power to choose her fate

Impuissant to Conciously decide
What she plans to do next with her life

Stumbled upon her end

She will never her fate able to mend
