Pits and Pitchforks Follow einer Story

I’m not sure when it all started. I vaguely remember being in my body and then my soul was taken away from me. It’s all blurry in my mind, but I think I saw my body falling down as I ascended towards the sky. But then something pulled me back to the earth and since then I’m stuck here, incapable of doing nothing but suffer along with these stupid human beings.

After the last body I occupied was set on fire, I woke up in a little girl’s tiny body. She was running towards this scary lagoon like it was nothing. She was chasing a ladybird and when she stepped into the water, it was too late to come back.

Cold water started to get into her lungs, stopping her to scream for help. Her mom was checking on her phone while her daughter looked at her, begging for help. Turn around mommy; she would have said if the monster hadn’t grabbed her by the knees.

At least it was quick. I guess it was an alligator. Honestly, it was too dark to see what it was. But I felt merciless claws while it was tearing me apart. On that final moment, I absorbed all her fear and I let her rest in peace. Apparently that’s my job. After all these years, I still don’t know why this is happening to me. You could say it’s a curse or something worse. I just wonder what I could’ve done wrong to deserve this.

Who knows what’s waiting for me next. But I’m sure it will keep getting worse each time. I vividly remember each one of them and since it looks like you’re whiling to listen, I’m about to tell you some of my worst experiences. Take a deep breath and try to be prepared. God knows I’m not.
